Concentration
Every movement is a conscious act controlled by the power of your mind. This also brings about stress reduction.

Breathing
   Controlled continuous thoracic breathing is an essential part of Pilates
   It takes time to learn

Centering
   The centre of our body is our “powerhouse”.
   The body should work in unison with all movement stemming from our centre.

Control
   Essential: good posture results when the entire body is under control.

Precision
   Perform exercises exactly according to the instructions and you will reap the benefits

Movement
   Slow, controlled, continuous movement is at the heart of the Pilates method
   Like a wheel moving: no pause, no slowing down or speeding up!
